Email Reminders - Contract Provisions

Article Summary

Use Case: A user can receive email reminders for contract provisions.

Overview:

  1.  Update Contract Provision - Add a Start Date and Frequency for the email reminders

  2.  Update User - A user must elect to receive contract provision emails.

  3.  Receive Email - Note that these emails will be sent out on a nightly basis.

1. Update the Notification Management in the Contract Provision:

  1. Locate an existing contract provision, or create a new one.
  2. Populate the Notification Managementfields of the provision:
    • Email Notification Frequency - The frequency at which emails reminders are sent between the Provision Start Date and Provision End Date
      • One-Time
      • Monthly
      • Quarterly
      • Annually
    • Provision Start Date - The first date that email reminders will be sent.
    • Provision End Date - The date that email reminders will no longer be sent.
  3. Click Save when completed.

2. Update User

  1. Navigate to the user record Admin > Users and select the user who should receive the notifications.
  2. Click User Actions > Edit
  3. Click + Add Notification Type, select Contract Provisions, and click Update.

3. Receive Emails

  1. Note that emails will be sent out at midnight each night. The email will be sent on the Provision Start Date, and continue to send depending on the frequency selected.
